Our Highland Model Tenor Sling is a custom design that incorporates a front buckle that is easily and quickly adjusted to the perfect length, even after those quick uniform changes. The Tenor sling is similar to our Military Model Snare Sling, but is 2.5” wide instead of 3”. This provides more comfort for the visual elements of Tenor drumming. This sling is also regularly used as a snare drum sling, and may offer more comfort for smaller players.
All slings are lined with light colored suede that shields the wearer from the dyed face leather, helping to protect uniforms and acting as a grip to keep the sling in place. As with all natural products, the shades of dye in leather can vary slightly from product to product.

The Highland Model Snare Slings are measured in the same way as the Military Model Snare Sling (pictured). They are measured from the hook where the ring contacts the drum hardware, across the back, over the right shoulder, and to the point of origin. Our slings were measured on the inside (pictured on outside for clarity). There is an extra hole or two cut on the sling for a bit more adjustment in a pinch, but the following are the recommended adjustments.
* For orders with the Solid 2” ring option, please subtract 2” from the listed overall measurements.
